Historical NFL data — nflverse

Historical player statistics, team statistics and play-by-play data are sourced in part from nflverse / nflverse-data. The applicable nflverse datasets are credited under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, subject to per-dataset and original-source notices.

We transform these inputs by selecting, matching, normalizing, aggregating and calculating independent fantasy-football statistics and indicators. We credit the nflverse contributors and the nflfastR project and its acknowledged contributors for their work collecting and processing historical NFL play-by-play and statistics. The published source license and notices apply to the source material; DMF calculations are modified outputs and are not endorsed by those contributors.

Schedules and game metadata

Some schedule reconciliation uses Lee Sharpe and the nfldata project. Applicable attribution and reuse conditions for individual schedule assets are under review; this notice does not represent a completed commercial-rights determination.

Sportsbook market information

Market odds and related information used in our research may be provided through SportsGameOdds. Dumb Money Fantasy independently produces its consensus calculations, projections and opportunity indicators. We do not accept bets, operate a sportsbook or offer raw odds feeds for resale. Third-party market information is subject to applicable provider terms.

Fantasy platforms

DraftKings and FanDuel names may be used to identify applicable contest formats, salary inputs and scoring conventions. All respective marks belong to their owners. Dumb Money Fantasy is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with either platform.

Interpretation and corrections

Statistics, schedules, odds and projections may be incomplete, delayed or revised. Our calculations are independently produced and should not be interpreted as official NFL, sportsbook or fantasy-operator projections. This page records source acknowledgements; it does not grant rights to third-party data or indicate completed commercial-use clearance.
